Samaritan's Purse is seeking a UX/UI Product Designer to join our Information Technology department, working in Coppell, TX. As a UX/UI Product Designer, you will design and shape the user experience and visual identity of digital products that support the ministry's objectives. Working closely with product owners, developers, and QA, you will turn complex requirements into intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces. Using user-centered design, research, and usability testing, you will create solutions that drive engagement, usability, and ministry impact. A day in the life of a UX/UI Product Designer: 
At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. 
In the role of UX/UI Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to: 
  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
  • Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final UI deliverables for digital products.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand user needs and translate business goals into engaging design solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing and gather feedback to inform iterative design improvements.
  • Work closely with product developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and address UI/UX issues post-launch.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual language, including design systems, style guides, and UI patterns.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design alignment with product objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, accessibility, and front-end technology.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year college or university in design, human-computer interaction, or related field; and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in UI/UX design.
    • A relevant combination of education and experience would also be considered.
  • Thorough knowledge in one or more areas: design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar), responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-platform UI development.
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.
